Yoga
Today yoga contribution to improve the physical and mental health of people has been proved beyond any doubts and it is now an unchallengeable truth. The science of yoga is a system that overtime will lead to a general improvement of both physical and mental health with the hope of cultivating a spiritual improvement as well. Yoga is capable to target different physical conditions with the practice of asanas, pranayama, and meditation. Yoga is a much gentle practice compare to other physical exercise programs focusing to overdevelop muscles. However, it is capable to tone bodies in challenging the muscles from stretching in every direction, and affect positively the body’s systems with improvement of respiration and circulation, as blood flows more freely throughout the entire body during the asanas practice. Asanas are a physical form of exercise as a combination of poses that strengthen, stretch and relax the body which will help one to obtain and maintain a healthy body. All over the years I have been practicing many styles of yoga from Jivamukti, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Ashtanga and kundalini. However I would refer my classes to be based on a slow Vinyasa flow style with Pranayama exercises.
